We interupt this blog to bring you a special report.....

Who has two thumbs and hates the Broncos????
THIS GUY!!!!! LOL

Okay so I need to call my dad out on something, but to do it I am going to embarass myself to prove a point. As you all might recall we have a rivalry thing going because Im a Raiders fan and he's a Broncos fan... We made a bet, I lost the first time...I followed through with my end of the deal. I went all around town in the stupid cat in the hat, hat that he made me taking pictures. Granted, I took a couple more weeks to get them to him then I needed because I was bent out of shape but I still got them to him within a reasonable amount of time...He however got them....and I even took more then I was supposed to.....
HOWEVER, the next time they played each other the Raiders won and the Broncos lost...and that was 6 months ago...I've gotten 2 pictures...I think both of which I was in too (meaning he brought the hat to some where we were meeting and took the picture there). Im supposed to get one every week until they play again, now I havent done the math but I would think that I should have a lot more pictures then the two that I do have....
So to coax him into following through Im going to show you all what I had to endure and maybe he'll start sending me some pictures so I dont have to post every single one of them on here for you all to mock....because I am that mean.
Beyond that I just lost my first game of the season to him...and I cant in all honesty continue on with the bet if he isnt following through on his end....

Vacation Take Two: Are we there yet?????

So we left WA....all excited but sad...excited to see our favorite city again...sad to leave everyone we love behind...but we headed down the road...our intention was to make it as far as we could...to Jason that probably meant 5 or 6 hours out of Vegas...to me it was to make it all the way there and then start playing....lol...

God had his own plan for us....

About 5 miles outside of Idaho Falls the car started shaking....and making a horrible sound....I hung on as Jason took the first exit he could find. It was approximately seven...all I could think of was Texas Chain Saw Masacre or Wrong Turn...((Sniffle sniffle...I dont want to die in a small town...and I dont run so I would surely be the first to die))....

Thats when the phone calls started...Jason called Mike....his uncle Rick...Ken....we figured out what was wrong in no time....getting it fixed on a Saturday at 7....not as easy....

We ended up walking down to the local Auto Zone and getting some parts so Jason could fix the part that he knew HE could fix. The guys at Auto Zone were amazing. They helped when we needed help...they laughed and joked around with me as I supervised...and they even let us borrow tools without charge....we couldnt have broken down in a nicer town....(although I did have the inkling to ask them if they had any intentions of chopping me up into little tiny pieces still).

Jason always seems to amaze me...he was in his worst nightmare...so stressed out he was shaking...and yet he seemed so calm...and right at home...it only took him 45 minutes to completely take the front of the car apart and fix it and put it back together....and he did it all while yelling at me to stop taking pictures of him...and the unsuspecting murderers I mean Auto Zone workers....(lol I did tell him that I wanted someone to have evidence just in case we did wind up dead).
Amazingly the second part wasnt very difficult either...well kinda....the wonderful people at Auto Zone had the number of a guy that worked on cars and four wheel drive...so we called him...he couldnt come out on Saturday but he was willing to meet us on Sunday....which means we got to stay at another over priced hotel and wait....

Here is Jason on the phone...looking all stressed out....

Here I am looking overly optimistic about us leaving in the morning....

Here we are after I gave Jason a pep talk about how everything happens for a reason....

And here is my arch nemesis....

Anyone that knows me knows that I am horribly claustrophobic...and this shower looks bigger in this picture then it was in real life....I think I needed valum just to step into it....yuck....

The guy was super nice that they refered us to...The only difficult part of the whole situation was taking off the wheels of the car...turns out your supposed to torque those things to a certain point for a reason....so after about 3 hours of trying to get the wheels off even with an air compressor....they finally came off and the work went pretty fast after that....

I was very helpful again...and stayed out of the way for the most part...and only took pictures when people werent looking....

I only cried once and it was when Jason said he didnt know if it was a smart thing to do to continue on to Vegas....especially because our luck was so bad....but I reassured him that I would stand on the road holding a Vegas or Bust sign if anything happened again....so we were on the road again....

Vacation Part One: Washington

A vacation was definitely needed...and long awaited. Since we didn't go anywhere last year because we bought the house, this year was jam packed with lots of fun and exciting things on the itinerary. First stop WA...I couldnt ride in the car for the full 18 plus hours it takes to get there considering my butt hurt after the first 20 minutes so we ended up taking lots of breaks...

One of our many stops we took this picture....

We ended up stopping in Butt Montana...and yes I know its Butte...but to me it will always be butt....It was gross...and they charged you an arm and a leg to stay in this rinky dink town that had an infestation of moths to the point where we were peeling them off of us and our clothes...so its butt...and then it was a good thing I noticed this sign as we walked in because I doubt I would have noticed it in the morning...and I probably would have flooded the entire hotel...goodbye butt...you couldnt pay me to make me stay there again.

Finally we were at our destination....Spokane, WA...where we had our own personal chef...(just kidding Mike...although the food was amazing...I think I gained 20lbs hanging out with you guys)...3 malls at our disposal and peace and quiet. We were only there for a day I think before we left for Omak/Tonasket where we got to hang out with both sets of Jasons grandparents. I didnt get any pictures of Jason and his Grandma Dot because I wasnt feeling well but we had a blast hanging out and getting to see her/the rest of the gang even if it was for such a brief amount of time. We ended up staying in Tonasket for the night and gabbing till all hours of the night with Grandma Vonnie, Grandpa Jerry, Ricky, and Jerry...It was so much fun. Grandma Vonnie even made us breakfast in the morning...mmmmm....thanks Grandma....

On the way back to Spokane we stopped and took a little break at the Grand Coulee Dam. More or less because I thought it was beautiful...but I think you have to actually go there to be able to see its real beauty.

That night we ended up going to one of my favorite restaurants The Dragon with Mike and Laurie...it was great food and amazing company...

The next day we ended up going to all of the parks...WA has some amazing parks. There is a row of parks right next to each other that you can just walk to and from. Each more beautiful then the next. The only hard part about it is we have difficulty choosing what to take pictures of because I am a people picture person and Jason is a thing picture person. But here we are in the parks...

We ended up having Jasons best friend Jessie and his little boy Richie over to Mike and Lauries for dinner that night too...Kariya and Richie had so much fun together...especially jumping on the trampoline...then Richie got to feed all of the sheep and the llama....

Our last day there we all went bowling...I tried to explain how bad I was at bowling to everyone but nobody believed me...Even Richie and Kariya did a better job then me....but it was a blast...

One last picture of Jason and Mike and we were on the road to VEGAS BABY!!!!! Thanks Mike and Laurie for having us...it was so much fun!! And thanks to Helen, Rachel, Tyson, Kariya, Jessie and Richie for keeping us well entertained...cant wait to see you all again.

Not your typical house wife....

Okay so everyone that knows me knows that I am not your typical house wife....Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I never pictured myself as a "housewife"...or maybe its because I bored but not desperate....I dont know...but whatever the reason I dont believe in "typical"....
Jason never knows what he is coming home to...When I do clean everything has to get thrown around the house first in different piles and it always ends up messier then when I began...its just my process...When cook (which doesnt happen that often) I always "create" my meals without a recipe or knowing how to "drudge" something....and I always make a bigger mess in the kitchen then is really necessary (the image of the lady throwing flour into her face after making rice crispy treats...thats me....).
But this will quite possibly take the cake...at least to most of you....
So Saturday night was date night....typical dinner and a movie with our best friends...but the movie was postponed so we could go to the tattoo parlor....Sheina got a new edition to her body....and as I was sitting there...wanting a way too expensive tattoo....I decided that I couldnt leave without "something".....So here it goes.....

Okay so for those of you who are gonna ask anyways....

YES ITS REAL!!!! And no I dont know why I do these things to myself....I like it.

My first words after it was done: My moms gonna kill me....

Did it hurt? Not really....probably one of the easiest ones to get done....kinda hard to get used to eating "around it" though....and probably will continue to be until I can change it out to just a cute little stud diamond....

Parents reactions:

Mom- why would you do that??? your so pretty....

Dad- your mom dropped you on your head when you were little....I saw her do it....

And for those of you who are counting...its #16.....but only 3 tattoos....someone out there should be proud I have some restraint....not much....but some....and I can take it out whenever I want...you cant take out tattoos....(DAD).....lol.

And Jason loves it....he thinks its cute....which is good cause I was really nervous about that.

Well like I said I am not your typical housewife....lol....well maybe I am....just for this generation.?????
