Wow where did the time go????

I cant believe how long its been since I've even thought about being on here...So much has happened in the last month I dont even know where to start...I guess my birthday is as good a place as any....

A VERY UNMERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU.....TO ME!!!!! Or was it???

For the last couple of years I've been teasing Jason that I was going to throw myself a surprise birthday party....So for my 21st bday take 4, I told everyone....(I know what some of you are thinking....???? I decided that I wasn't going to age past 21 because its your last exciting birthday until you get a senior discount...and besides I was going to start the lying early on in life)....So I waited and waited and before I knew it, it was my birthday and surprise there was no surprise!!! (Mostly because Im a procrastonator)! So I decided I wanted to do the usual and go to my favorite restaurant Musashi's....mmmmmmmmm......So Jason, Sheina, Andrew and I all got pretty and went. The whole time I kept asking Jason if he was going to throw me a surprise party because he kept looking for my phone and he said kept telling me no...So after dinner I got a phone call from one of my bff's Michellie and her fianc'e Brandon so we went home really fast to meet them and show them the house =) Jason and Sheina shooting each other looks in their respective cars, Sheina yelling at me because she forgot my present at her house and we had to go over that night and get it and it was already getting pretty late. So we finally get over to Sheina's after eleven I think and walk in and the house was all decorated and the cake was all lit. And the only people there were me, Jason, Sheina and Andrew.....(sniffle, sniffle, sniffle).... Andrew had thrown me a surprise party. LOL. It was hystarical to me. I guess Jason had tried to call Michelle but only knew her work number and she wasn't at work that day, and my mom was at her company Christmas party. I thought it was perfect though and I wouldnt have had it any other way....

So here is the picture of all of us at Musashi's....mmmmmm.....yummy!!!

Next comes Christmas Eve....of course after a whole lotta shopping....Me and Jason decided that since it was the first year in our new home we should host Christmas eve....Ironically enough, at the time that we decided this we didn't even have a tree...So I guess thats what comes first.
So Jason is very traditional and Im really not...I didn't even want a tree to begin with. So we got a tree...lol. And Jason wanted to decorate with red and white and green....and I being the nontraditional one liked teal....

Sooo....we got the teal...hey dont judge me, he got the tree....lol.

He also wasn't so sure about dressing the animals up either but look how well that turned out....

Awww how cute!!!!

So we had the tree, we had the outfits...Now to bug Jason even more I decided I wanted to do a Christmas card...Now ordinarially just the mere thought of getting him to take a picture is excrutiating enough for him...but now...now I had to add the animals, together and in costume. FUN....So here it goes.
Take One

Jason would have been fine with just taking this one but I wanted just one more good one so I could have options...grrrr....

Take Two

Too dark...NEXT!!!

Take Three

Ummm I should explain this because its kinda funny (but shhhh its not funny to Jason)....So Jason would have to get up every time for a new picture and reset the camera and run back and try and get in the picture fast enough to where we would all be in it. And every time he got up the cat would hiss, kick the dog in the back of the head and then get ready for the next picture. So the dog was getting ready to get kicked.

Take Four

All I remember is Jason saying "good enough", Felix running upstairs hissing the whole way and Spike laying down like he was exhausted. I was of course left to pick up the hair and the buttons pulled out during the whole process. Such a good guy indulging me the way that he does =)

I lied again...the thing that comes next is the homeless. So everyone knows that I have never really been into the comercialism of the holidays. So every year to put me and Jason in the Christmas spirit we do something for the less fortunate to show us how very lucky we are in every aspect. So we go and buy hats, gloves, scarfs, socks, etc...anything that can be used to keep them warm, then we drop it off with Dee and she gets to distribute them at the clinic she works at. It makes me tear up every year to know how blessed we are but I always walk away wishing we could do more.

Well for my first blog back I think I've surpassed all my previous bloggings, so I will give you guys a chance to catch up without needing an hour to do so...and I will finish the holiday pictures and events soon. Hope all is well every where. All our love.
